Company Background

The Hakka people were a nomadic tribe originating in Northern China. Over the centuries they lived as itinerant settlers in many provinces of China eventually settling in the Southern regions where they were given their unique name. Throughout their nomadic travels their cuisine assimilated the very best that  the various Chinese cultures had to offer.

Hakka now make this deliciously varied cuisine available to you through their product ranges prepared at their facility in Silverwater from only the freshest local and imported ingredients, under the strict controls of their Food Safety Policy which incorporates HACCP standards.

As part of Hakka's commitment as a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant, we aim to utilise packaging materials which will assure protection to reduce environmental impacts and encourage effective use of recyclable resources throughout the organisation.
