Cooking Instructions
Note: This is a par-cooked product only and further cooking is required prior to consumption.
Cooking instructions - Defrost Taro Chips:
a) Leave in fridge over night
b) Microwave for 3-4 minutes or until easy to pull apart.
1. Deep Fry: Pre heat oil to 170°C. In batches, fry for 3 mins or until tender. Remove from oil to rest. Increase oil 180°C & fry taro a second time for 2 mins or until ends turn golden. Remove from oil & drain on a paper towel. Sprinkle with salt & pepper & serve hot with your favourite sauce.
2. Oven Bake: Season with olive oil, sesame oil, chilli oil, salt & pepper to taste. Place the taro chips on a baking tray & bake for 10 mins turning occasionally until the ends are golden & crispy. Serve hot with your favourite sauce.
