Cooking Instructions
1. DEEP FRY: Pre-heat oil to 160 - 170ºC then a) If thawed, deep fry Hakka Thai Fish Cakes for 2-3 minutes or until ready, b) If frozen, flash fry for 1-2 minutes then leave aside for 10 minutes. Deep fry (re-fry) for 2-3 minutes or until ready. Drain oil and serve.
2. BOIL: Place Hakka Thai Fish Cakes in boiling water or soup and simmer for 2-3 minutes if thawed, or 4-6 minutes if frozen.
3. STEAM: Place Hakka Thai Fish Cakes in a steamer and steam over boiling water for 3-5 minutes if thawed, or 5-10 minutes if frozen.
4. BBQ, PAN FRY OR GRILL: BBQ, pan fry or grill Hakka Thai Fish Cakes for 3 -5 minutes if thawed, or 5-7 minutes if frozen, until ready. Turn product frequently.
Note: Cooking times and temperatures may vary according to appliance used and portion sizes.
Serving Suggestions
Serve Hakka Thai Fish Cakes with sweet chilli sauce or your favourite Asian style dipping sauce for a delicious snack, entreé or side dish. Alternatively serve in a soup dish or try skewering and cook over a BBQ.
