Cooking Instructions
Ensure noodles are thoroughly cooked before consumption
1) Microwave (900W)
Pierce 1-2 holes in bag and place in microwave. Heat for 1½-2 mins on high or until easy to separate.
OR
b) Blanch
Open bag & fully submerge noodles in boiling water. Slowly untangle noodles with a fork/chopsticks until separated. Remove from water & strain.
OR
c) Blanch
Submerge entire sealed pack in boiling water until easy to separate. Empty into bowl and slowly untangle noodles with a fork/chopsticks until separated.
If not using immediately, (a) Run noodles under cold water or (b) lubricate well with vegetable oil to prevent sticking (recommended), before storing away for late
This is not a ready to eat product.Best cooked immediately after opening & consumed within 3 days.
Recipe
Stir Fried Hokkien Noodles (Serves 3-4)
Ingredients:
500g Hakka Hokkien Noodles
2 ½ tbs vegetable oil
300g mixed vegetables
250g sliced chicken
2 ½ tbs oyster sauce
½ tbs corn flour
2 ½ tbs soy sauce
1 clove of garlic (crushed)
Instructions:
1. Follow “Cooking Instructions” above.
2. Coat sliced chicken in corn flour.
3. Heat oil in wok and stir fry garlic until light brown (use
medium heat).
4. Add chicken to heated wok and stir fry for 2 minutes or
until braised.
5. Add mixed vegetables to wok and stir fry for about
30 seconds before adding all remaining ingredients.
6. Toss noodles for 2 minutes until heated through and
serve hot.
