Cooking Instructions

a) Loosen in bag

Pierce 1-2 holes in bag to allow air to enter. Loosen noodles within bag by firmly squeezing the sides of the pack together in a clapping motion then turn pack side ways and repeat. Noodles are now ready for use.


b) Microwave (900W)
Pierce 1-2 holes in bag and place in microwave. Heat on full power for 1-1½ mins (500g) or 1½ - 2 mins (1kg) or until easy to separate. (Microwave ovens may vary; adjust timing accordingly). 
Noodles are now ready for use.


c) Blanch
Open bag and submerge noodles in a bowl of boiling water. Slowly untangle the noodles with a fork or chopsticks until separated then remove from water and strain.
Noodles are now ready for use.

 If not using immediately, (a) Run noodles under cold water or (b) lubricate well with vegetable oil to prevent sticking (recommended), before storing away for later use. 


Stir Fried Hokkien Noodles (Serves 3-4)


500g Hakka Hokkien Noodles
2 ½ tbs vegetable oil
300g mixed vegetables
250g sliced chicken
2 ½ tbs oyster sauce
½ tbs corn flour
2 ½ tbs soy sauce
1 clove of garlic (crushed)

1. Follow “Cooking Instructions” above.
2. Coat sliced chicken in corn flour.
3. Heat oil in wok and stir fry garlic until light brown (use medium heat).
4. Add chicken to heated wok and stir fry for 2 minutes or until braised.
5. Add mixed vegetables to wok and stir fry for about 30 seconds before adding all remaining ingredients.
6. Toss noodles for 2 minutes until heated through and serve hot.
