Beef & Garlic Mayo Wraps

Ingredients

Hakka Battered Beef 1 kg
10 flat breads (12inch)
650g lettuce (shredded)
125 g shredded cheese
½ red onion (thinly sliced)
½ red capsicum (thinly sliced)

Chilli Garlic Mayo

1 cup mayonnaise
2 cloves finely chopped garlic
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 ½ teaspoon tabasco
Salt and pepper to taste

 

Method

Mayo
Whisk all ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour or more.

Battered Beef
Preheat oil to 170ºC - 180ºC. Flash fry Hakka Battered Beef in 2 batches of 500 g for 1 minutes, then set aside for 5 minutes.

Deep fry for another 1-2 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown. Drain oil and put aside.

To assemble wraps
Place the flat breads on a work surface or plate. Layer lettuce, onion, capsicum, cheese, garlic mayo and beef. Roll up to enclose filling. Serve immediately.
