Buns - Barbecued Pork Buns

One of Hakka's most popular buns. Premium cuts of barbecued pork are mixed with onion, shallots and blended in a unique tomato and soya sauce then spiced with sesame oil and seasoning before being wrapped in a traditional soft fluffy wheat pastry bun. Traditionally steamed and served for either breakfast, lunch or a late supper, these buns make the perfect finger food or Yum Cha delicacy.

Cooking Instructions: Traditionally steamed and served in their bamboo steam pot.

Dumplings

These highly decorative and easy to eat delicacies are prepared from a wide range of ingredients and superb meat based fillings. The Pork Wanton has premium pork cuts blended in soya sauce, sesame oil and seasoning. The Seafood Wanton is a blend of succulent prawns, calamari, seafood stick and shallots in wine and spices.

Cooking Instructions: Dumplings are normally used in soup but also make excellent finger food when deep fried or steamed.

Money Bags

Vegetable Money Bags are prepared from mixed vegetables and mushrooms blended with spices and seasoning. Seafood Money Bags use a blend of prawns, fish, cabbage and seasoning. This appealing finger food is wrapped in thin pastry and hand tied with strips of edible dehydrated melon skin. Ideal as finger food for all occasions, or use as a snack with coffee or tea.

Cooking Instructions: Money Bags are at their best when they are deep fried to a light brown.
